To assist the elderly and/or homebound people of Natrona County maintain their independence and integrity, as well as their physical and mental health in the dignity of their own homes and environments, Natrona County Meals On Wheels prepares and delivers nutritionally tailored meals via caring community volunteers.
Natrona County Meals On Wheels provides home-delivered meals, friendly visits, and
well-being checks for our community's home-bound, handicapped and convalescent adults.
Through the Natrona County Meals On Wheels program, daily meals meeting 1/3 of the
recommended daily allowance are delivered to qualified homebound persons who live
within our service area. (City of Casper, south to Robertson Road, Evansville, east
to the county line, north to Bar Nunn, Mills, Mountain View, and southwest to the
airport)
Arrangements for weekly frozen meal pickup for other parts of Natrona County are
possible.
An additional component of the program is the daily well-being check by our volunteers.
Meals are delivered Monday through Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Frozen
evening and weekend meals are delivered, to those who need them, along with the
hot noon meal.
