WHAT WE DO

The Meals on Wheels Foundation was established in 1986 to create an endowment for Meals on Wheels. The founders of the Meals on Wheels Foundation believed strongly in the mission of Meals on Wheels, and felt it was important to have a way to provide monetary support to Meals on Wheels long into the future.

WHAT WE DO AND WHAT WE'VE DONE (AND WITH YOUR HELP, WILL CONTINUE TO DO):

  • Provide a monthly payment to Meals on Wheels to support the operating budget.
  • Provided funds for the building expansion in 2005.
  • Provided funds for equipment replacement or emergency repairs.
  • Assist in fundraising efforts for Meals on Wheels.
  • Work to ensure that the Foundation continues in perpetuity, so that monetary
  • support can be provided to Meals on Wheels for the long-term.
