Natrona County Meals On Wheels is a member of Meals on Wheels America, a national non-profit whose goal is to end hunger among senior citizens across the country. Natrona County Meals On Wheels shares that same goal. Each Monday through Friday, meals are delivered to seniors in our community who are homebound or unable to prepare food for themselves. However, our volunteers deliver more than hot, nutritious meals to our clients; they also provide well-being checks and friendly social interaction.

Volunteers deliver hot, nutritious meals Monday through Friday between 10:30am and 1:00pm, as well as frozen evening and weekend meals if needed. These frozen meals can be conveniently reheated in a microwave or conventional oven.

Every meal is required to meet one third of the dietary guidelines set by the USDA. Natrona County Meals on Wheels also prepares meals for people requiring special diets including diabetes, renal, diverticulitis, GERD, celiac, drug interaction, ground, puree, cut-up, low sodium, high calorie, vegetarian and a few others.

Our building was constructed by the City of Casper and became operational in 1986. It is comprised of a large commercial kitchen, social gathering area and administrative offices. The kitchen has a dry food storage room, three walk-in coolers, a walk-in freezer, a dish room, several preparation areas, large ovens, and a serving area which are all necessary to prepare balanced, hot meals for our clients.
