Our Purpose
Our Mission
To help the elderly and/or homebound people of Natrona County maintain their independence and integrity, as well as their physical and mental health in the dignity of their own homes and environments.
How We Support Seniors in Natrona County
Too many seniors face challenges when it comes to accessing healthy food or preparing meals. Whether it’s due to limited mobility, dietary restrictions, or decreased appetite, these hurdles put older adults at risk of malnutrition and isolation. That’s where Natrona County Meals on Wheels steps in.
Each Monday through Friday, our dedicated volunteers deliver hot, nutritious meals to seniors who are homebound or unable to cook for themselves. But what we deliver goes far beyond the meal: along with every delivery, we offer a friendly smile, a kind word, and a wellness check that provides connection and reassurance for our aging neighbors.
Our meal deliveries, scheduled between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., include options for frozen evening and weekend meals, ensuring seniors always have access to nourishing food when they need it.
Every meal meets one-third of the USDA’s dietary guidelines, and we go the extra mile to accommodate special dietary needs, from diabetes and renal diets to low sodium, vegetarian, and pureed meals. We believe that good nutrition is key to promoting independence and well-being.
Since 1986, our facility in Casper has been the heart of our operation. With a state-of-the-art kitchen, social gathering space, and administrative offices, we’re equipped to provide the care and support our seniors deserve. Our kitchen features dry food storage, walk-in coolers and freezers, and large ovens, and every meal is prepared with care and quality.
We are proud to be a part of the Meals on Wheels America network, which is responsible for delivering over 251 million meals annually to 2.2 million seniors across the country. We would love for you to see the difference we’re making right here in Natrona County. If you’re curious or want to learn more, we warmly invite you to visit and tour our facility. Together, we can make sure that every senior in Natrona County receives the nutrition, connection, and care they deserve.
